A dramatic Rift Valley gorge of red cliffs and geysers — and one of Africa's only parks where you can safari on foot or by bike.
With no large predators on the open plains, Hell's Gate is the rare park where self-guided walking and cycling are allowed. Pedal between zebra, eland, hartebeest, baboons and Maasai giraffe with the Fischer's Tower and Central Tower rock pinnacles overhead.
The Ol Njorowa gorge — the inspiration for Disney's Lion King 'Pride Rock' — drops between red sandstone walls fed by hot springs.
