Kuzuri Escapades

Our Story

Guardians of your
Ugandan legacy.

Established 2018

Born from a singular vision โ€” to bridge wilderness and elegance.

Kuzuri Escapades began as a quiet rebellion. For too long, the safari business had been written by outsiders โ€” itineraries designed in distant cities, lodges chosen for commission, guides hired for accent. We wanted something else: a house run by the land's own people, for travellers who wanted to meet the land on its own terms.

From our headquarters at Ham Towers in Wandegeya, our small team curates every detail of every journey. We answer the phone ourselves. We meet you at the airport. We trek the gorillas with you. And on the last night, we share the fire and the stories โ€” because a Kuzuri journey doesn't end when you fly home.

Today we operate across four nations โ€” Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania โ€” but Uganda will always be our home. The Pearl of Africa raised us. We are simply returning the favor.

What We Stand For

Four promises.

01

Native Stewardship

100% Ugandan owned. Every guide, driver and curator is from the land they show you โ€” because authenticity cannot be hired.

02

Quiet Luxury

We measure luxury in moments of stillness, not in thread counts. The right view at the right hour. The silence after the lion's roar.

03

Conservation First

A portion of every journey funds anti-poaching units in Bwindi and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. The wild owes us nothing โ€” we owe it everything.

04

Invisible Care

True luxury is what you don't have to notice. Permits handled. Charters confirmed. Camps prepared before you arrive. We work in the background so you can be fully present.
