From Lake Victoria to the misty highlands of Bwindi, this nine-day journey strings together Uganda's most rewarding wildlife and primate experiences.
Day 1 — Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary on Lake Victoria from Entebbe.
Day 2 — Drive west to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal.
Day 3 — Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale and a guided wetland walk in Bigodi Swamp (red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus, abundant birdlife).
Day 4 — Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Crater Lakes and the Rwenzori foothills.
Day 5 — Morning game drive on the Kasenyi track and afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise.
Day 6 — Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge then transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions.
Day 7 — Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Day 8 — Return to Kampala with a stop at the Equator.
Day 9 — Kampala city tour (Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Kasubi Tombs, Uganda Museum, craft village) and departure.
