A short but rich Queen Elizabeth National Park escape — game drives, a Kazinga Channel boat cruise and the famous Ishasha tree-climbing lions.
This 3 Days Uganda Wildlife Experience takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Western Uganda, with a stopover in the tourism city of Fort Portal and a return via the Equator. Queen Elizabeth is one of Uganda's flagship parks, famed for game drives, boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel and the rare tree-climbing lions of the Ishasha sector.
Day 1 — Transfer from Kampala via Fort Portal to Queen Elizabeth, with an evening game drive for buffaloes, elephants and antelopes. Overnight at Irungu Forest Safari Lodge (budget) or upgraded lodges.
Day 2 — Early morning game drive (Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos, leopards, hyenas), followed by an afternoon boat cruise on the 36 km Kazinga Channel between Lake George and Lake Edward.
Day 3 — Drive south to the Ishasha sector to track the famous tree-climbing lions, then return via the Equator at Kayabwe to Kampala.
Price: $1,250 – $2,450 per person depending on accommodation level (budget, mid-range or luxury).
