Five days that thread together the western parks' best — savanna game drives, the densest hippo channel in Africa, an unforgettable hour with a habituated gorilla family, and a slow evening on Africa's deepest crater lake.
Day 1 — Drive west from Entebbe via the Equator to Queen Elizabeth NP, with an afternoon game drive on arrival.
Day 2 — Sunrise game drive on the Kasenyi plains; afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise.
Day 3 — Transfer south to Bwindi via the Ishasha tree-climbing lion sector.
Day 4 — Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Afternoon transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a sunset on the terraces.
Day 5 — Optional canoe paddle, then the drive back to Entebbe.
