Our most family-friendly itinerary — fifteen days mixing wildlife, culture, Nile adventure, Sipi Falls, Karamoja, Kidepo, Murchison, QENP and Lake Bunyonyi.
A fifteen-day family circuit blending wildlife, culture, Nile adventure, light hiking and lakeside relaxation — designed for two adults and three children with kid-friendly accommodation, pool stops and easy activities.
Day 1 — Arrive Entebbe, afternoon city relaxation with optional Mabamba shoebill swamp. Overnight at Best Western Premier Garden Hotel.
Day 2 — Kampala city tour: Uganda Museum, Buganda Kingdom, snake park, markets and craft shops.
Day 3 — Transfer to Jinja (2–3 hours), the Adventure Capital, with quad biking and a Nile boat cruise. Overnight at Buyala Bliss.
Day 4 — Source of the Nile boat ride, family Nile tubing on calm sections, optional Uganda Railway or Cultural Research Centre.
Day 5 — Transfer to Kapchorwa via Mbale; Sipi Falls three-tier waterfall hike and an Arabica coffee farm tour. Overnight at Heritage Sipi Lodge.
Day 6 — Transfer to Moroto: Karamoja Cultural Museum, traditional Manyatta visits, Mathe Niko Wildlife Reserve game drive and local markets. Overnight at Ecorete Place Hotel.
Day 7 — Transfer to Kidepo Valley NP — pool relaxation and a Karamojong village visit. Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodges.
Day 8 — Morning and evening game drives in Kidepo (lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, 475+ bird species).
Day 9 — Transfer to Murchison Falls via Gulu. Overnight at Murchison River Lodge.
Day 10 — Murchison morning game drive and afternoon Nile boat cruise to the foot of the falls.
Day 11 — Transfer to Fort Portal via the Top of the Falls; visit Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru caves and the Tooro Kingdom. Overnight at Nyaika Hotel.
Day 12 — Queen Elizabeth NP afternoon game drive and Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Overnight at Irungu Forest Safari Lodge.
Day 13 — Lake Bunyonyi: canoe ride, Punishment Island history, lakeside swimming and zip-lining. Overnight at Arcadia Lodge.
Day 14 — Scenic return via Kabale, Mbarara and Masaka with an Equator photo stop at Kayabwe. Overnight at Las Vegas Gardens Hotel.
Day 15 — Last-day Ndere Cultural Centre East African dance show and transfer to Entebbe for departure.
Price: $4,980 per adult and $2,890 per child.
