A full-day immersion in Kampala's capital pulse and the heritage of the Buganda Kingdom โ palace, parliament, tombs, mosque and a traditional Ugandan lunch.
One day to read Kampala properly โ through the gates of the Lubiri, the silence of the Kasubi tombs, and the slow climb up the Gaddafi mosque minaret for the city laid out below.
Morning โ Pickup and briefing at 8:00 am, then on to the Kabaka's Palace (Lubiri) to learn the royal lineage of Buganda and walk through the Amin-era underground chambers.
Mid-morning โ Bulange (Buganda Parliament) and the Royal Mile, followed by the UNESCO-listed Kasubi Tombs, burial place of the Buganda kings.
Afternoon โ Traditional lunch of luwombo, matooke and groundnut sauce, then Namirembe Cathedral and Gaddafi National Mosque with a panoramic view from the minaret.
Evening โ Owino or Nakasero market, Independence Monument and an optional Ndere Centre cultural performance before transfer back to your hotel.
